As a former Oregon resident eager to be a useful designer, I interned with the State of Oregon Health Authority, Publications and Creative Services. The Public Health Division needed to educate the public about cyanobacteria algae blooms infesting freshwaters, but their original poster was not as readable as it could have been. I redesigned the poster to cut the information down to bullet points and reorganized the information to read from left to right. The poster is still available on their website as a resource.
