Detail from the video I created for the 2018 Woodley House Benefit, which was a tribute to Mary Margaret Valenti.

Woodley House

The Woodley House, a mental health treatment center focused on independent living, needed a graphic designer for their annual movie fundraiser. The movie benefit is Woodley House’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Each year, attendees enjoy the premiere of a not-yet-released movie in honor of famous producer Jack Valenti and his wife, Mary Margaret. I was hired to design for the twentieth anniversary tribute to Mary Margaret.

What a wonderful project to throw my creative energy towards!

I designed everything:

  • The save the date
  • The invitations
  • The reply card and its accompanying envelope
  • The program
  • A video presentation recapping Mary Margaret’s history of premieres and her marriage to Jack

I relied on a bronze and blue color scheme to keep the overall look consistent and match the sophistication of the event. In the end, the client loved my work, and I got to see my video presentation on a screen at the benefit.
